Science Gothic

Under the direction of Thomas Phinney, Science Gothic™ is a variable font with weight, width, contrast and slant axes—the equivalent of 100+ or 1000+ separate fonts, depending on how you count instances. The medium weight is based closely on Bank Gothic, a typeface from the early 1930s. A lowercase, multiple design axes, and additional language coverage (354 languages) have been added. Bank Gothic was originally designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1930–34 for American Type Founders.
