Protest: a Typeface

Based on protest signs, this font was drawn with a Sharpie™ Magnum® at a condensed width to fit more into a tight space, and a bold weight to be more legible at a distance.

The range of characters is based on Underware’s Latin Plus glyph set, with a fair bit of latin-based language support.

Each letter has four (4) versions, which the font rotates through to avoid repeating glyphs and to retain the appearance of being hand lettered.

Protest also contains ligatures and plenty of stylistic alternates.

In addition to punctuation and fractions, there are also mathematic symbols and a host of dingbats for all you clever protest sign makers out there.
